Atalanta 2-1 Sassuolo result, stats and report

Atalanta and Frosinone shared eight goals in a breathless Serie A encounter on Sunday, with Frosinone coming from behind twice to deny the hosts all three points in a match that had absolutely no right to end level.

Anastasios Douvikas scored twice in the second half to give Como a deserved 2-0 victory over a toothless Sassuolo side who failed to register a single shot on target.

AC Milan edged a chaotic five-goal Serie A clash with Atalanta, with Adrien Rabiot and Mario Gila doing the damage before Nikola Krstović made it a nervy finish. Milan held on for three points they needed badly.

Antonio Raimondo scored a hat-trick as Frosinone dominated Sassuolo at home, winning 4-2 in a ferocious first half that settled the contest before the hour mark.

Nikola Krstović scored twice inside the first half hour as Atalanta put Venezia to the sword in a 3-1 Serie A victory, with the visitors' five-match losing run showing no sign of ending.

Atalanta arrive at this fixture haemorrhaging goals and short on bodies, while Inter roll into Bergamo with four wins from their last five Serie A outings. The numbers tell a brutal story.

Two sides who cannot keep a clean sheet between them meet at the Mapei Stadium on Sunday. Something has to give, and the smart money is on it being both defences.

Como arrive at this one in fine fettle, having won three of their last five Serie A matches. Sassuolo have not kept a clean sheet in five attempts and are leaking goals at an alarming rate.
