Terms and Conditions
Last updated:
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SportSignals.com, its subdomains, related applications, emails and services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Axia Signals Group LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of New Jersey, USA, with its registered address at 500 Paterson Plank Rd, STE 31016, Union City, NJ 07087, USA ("SportSignals", "we", "us", "our").
By using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy, Responsible Gambling page and Affiliate Disclosure form part of how we operate and are referenced in these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
The short version
This summary is for convenience only and is not legally binding; the full Terms below govern.
- SportSignals publishes football news, statistics, odds comparison, predictions and analysis tools. We are an information service. We are not a bookmaker, we do not accept or place bets, and nothing on the Service is betting, financial or investment advice.
- You must be 18 or older to use the Service, and you must meet the legal gambling age where you live before acting on anything you read here (21+ in most US states).
- Betting involves risk. Our model's outputs are probability estimates, not promises. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and you alone are responsible for any bets you choose to place and any losses you incur.
- SportSignals+ is a paid subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online in two clicks, with access to the end of the period you have paid for. Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled, and we email you the day before your first charge.
- If you are a consumer in the UK, you have cancellation and refund rights described in Section 9, including a 14 day cooling-off period. We also give everyone a voluntary 14 day money-back window on a first annual purchase.
- Please gamble responsibly. Support resources are listed in Section 12 and on our Responsible Gambling page.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
1.1 The Service is operated by Axia Signals Group LLC (trading as SportSignals), 500 Paterson Plank Rd, STE 31016, Union City, NJ 07087, USA.
1.2 You can contact us at support@sportsignals.com (support and billing), hello@sportsignals.com (general) or by post at the address above. We will contact you using the email address linked to your account.
1.3 If we need to give you formal notice under these Terms (for example about a price change), we will do so by email to your account address. Notice is treated as received 24 hours after sending, unless we learn the message did not arrive.
2. Eligibility and age restrictions
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, wherever you are. The Service is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.
2.2 The Service discusses betting. Gambling age and legality vary by location: in most US states the minimum age for sports betting is 21, and in parts of Canada it is 19. It is your responsibility to know and comply with the law where you are located. Do not act on any content on the Service unless you are of legal gambling age and located somewhere sports betting is lawful.
2.3 We may ask you to verify your age and may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe the holder is under 18. If we close an account for this reason we will refund any unused subscription period.
2.4 By using the Service you confirm that you are not prevented from doing so by any law that applies to you, and that you are not using the Service in breach of a self-exclusion arrangement you have registered for.
3. The nature of the Service: information, not advice
This section is important. Please read it carefully.
3.1 We are not a bookmaker. We do not offer gambling facilities, accept wagers, hold customer gambling funds or pay out winnings. We do not hold, and are not required to hold, a licence from the Gambling Commission of Great Britain or any US state gaming regulator, because we do not provide facilities for gambling. Betting brands featured on the Service are operated by third parties who hold their own licences.
3.2 Nothing on the Service is advice. All content, including news, statistics, odds, predictions, probability estimates, value signals, tips, alerts, ratings and tools, is provided for general information and entertainment purposes only. It is not, and must not be treated as, betting advice, a recommendation to place any bet, financial advice, investment advice or any other form of professional advice. Axia Signals Group LLC is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or any equivalent regulator.
3.3 Predictions are probability estimates. Our analytical model estimates the probability of sporting outcomes and compares those estimates with bookmaker prices. An identified "value" or "edge" is a statistical opinion about a price, not a statement that a bet will win. Individual outcomes are uncertain by nature, and losing runs happen even when estimates are sound.
3.4 Past performance does not guarantee future results. Any historical records, returns, strike rates or profit figures we publish describe the past. They are not a promise, projection or guarantee of future performance. We never guarantee profit, and you should treat any suggestion of guaranteed betting profit, from anyone, as a warning sign.
3.5 Odds and offers change. Odds, prices, availability, markets and promotional offers displayed on the Service are collected from third parties and can change at any time or be wrong. Always check the live price, terms and availability with the bookmaker before placing a bet. The bookmaker's own published price and terms prevail over anything shown on the Service.
3.6 Your bets are your own. You make your own decisions. If you choose to place a bet with any operator, you do so at your own risk, based on your own judgement, under your own contract with that operator. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for gambling losses, missed winnings, unavailable prices, bookmaker decisions (including account restrictions, bet settlement or offer eligibility) or any other outcome of your betting activity.
3.7 Only bet what you can afford to lose. If betting is causing you problems, stop, and use the support resources in Section 12.
4. Your account
4.1 Some features require a free account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
4.2 You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@sportsignals.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
4.3 Accounts are personal. One account per person, and one person per account. You must not share your account or subscription access with anyone else, and you must not create multiple accounts, including to obtain additional free trials, promotional prices or free-tier allowances.
4.4 You may close your account at any time in Account Settings or via our Data Deletion page. Closing your account does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees, except as set out in Section 9 or as required by law.
5. Free content and registered features
5.1 Much of the Service is free: news, odds comparison, the published results ledger, methodology pages and free tools and previews. Registered users get additional free features, which may include saved preferences, tracking allowances, metered tool sessions, emails and a daily summary alert.
5.2 Free content and features are provided at our discretion. We may change, meter, limit or withdraw them at any time. Where a free feature feeds into a paid feature, the boundary between the two may also change; we will not remove paid features you have already paid for during a period you have paid for, except as set out in Section 10.
6. SportSignals+ subscriptions
6.1 What SportSignals+ is. SportSignals+ is our paid subscription. The features included, the current price and the billing period (for example monthly or annual) are described on our pricing page and at checkout at the time you subscribe. The checkout screen is where the binding price for your subscription is stated; if these Terms and the checkout screen ever differ on price, the checkout screen prevails.
6.2 Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance in pounds sterling (GBP) via our payment provider (Section 8). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank or card issuer sets the exchange rate and may charge a conversion fee; those costs are yours.
6.3 Taxes. Prices shown at checkout include any VAT or equivalent sales taxes that apply, unless the checkout screen states otherwise.
6.4 Auto-renewal. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, and your payment method is charged. Before you first subscribe, the checkout screen states the price, the billing frequency, the date of your first charge and the fact that the subscription renews; you must expressly acknowledge the payment obligation before we take any payment details.
6.5 Renewal reminders. We send renewal reminder notices by email in accordance with applicable law, including: (a) a reminder the day before your first charge after a free trial; (b) for annual (or longer) plans, a reminder a reasonable period before each renewal charge; and (c) for monthly plans, periodic reminders at least once in every six month period. Reminders state the amount, the charge date and how to cancel.
6.6 Price changes. We may change subscription prices. A price change will never apply mid-period to a period you have already paid for. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a higher price first applies to you, and the notice will explain how to cancel before it takes effect. If you do nothing, the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
6.7 Founding, beta and promotional prices. If you subscribe under a founding, beta or other promotional price, the offer terms presented when you subscribe (for example, a price held for 12 months) form part of your contract. When a promotional period ends, the then-current list price applies from your next renewal, and we will remind you by email before the first charge at the new price.
6.8 Beta features. Features labelled beta, preview or similar are still maturing and may change, misbehave or be withdrawn. They are provided on that understanding.
6.9 Fair use. Subscriptions are for your personal, non-commercial use. We may apply reasonable technical limits (for example alert volumes, request rate limits, concurrent session limits) to keep the Service reliable for everyone.
7. Free trials, offers and pauses
7.1 Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, the length of the trial, the price after the trial and the exact date of your first charge are stated at checkout before you confirm. A payment method is required to start a trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. If you do not cancel, the subscription starts automatically at the end of the trial and the first charge is taken on the date stated at checkout. We email you the day before that first charge as a reminder.
7.2 One trial per person. Free trials and introductory offers are limited to one per person unless the offer states otherwise. We may decline a trial, or convert a trial to a standard subscription start, where we reasonably believe it is a repeat trial through a new or duplicate account.
7.3 Offer codes. Promotional codes carry their own eligibility conditions (for example, new customers only, lapsed customers only, expiry dates, redemption caps), which are stated with the offer and applied at checkout. Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged and may be withdrawn if we reasonably suspect abuse.
7.4 Pausing your subscription. You may pause a paid subscription once in any rolling 12 month period, for between 30 and 90 days, using your account settings or by contacting support. While paused: you are not charged, paid features are suspended, and your history, settings and tracked data are preserved. Your subscription and billing resume automatically at the end of the pause, and we will remind you by email before billing resumes. You can resume early at any time.
8. Payments and failed payments
8.1 Payments are processed by our subscription billing provider, OpenPay (getopenpay.com), and its connected payment processors. Your full card details go directly to the payment provider and never touch our servers. Billing management (updating cards, viewing invoices, cancelling) is available through your account and the billing portal at pay.sportsignals.com.
8.2 By subscribing you authorise us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for the subscription fees and any applicable taxes on the schedule described at checkout, until you cancel.
8.3 Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we will retry the payment and email you so you can update your payment method. We may keep your access active for a short grace period while we retry. If payment is not made after our retries, we may suspend or cancel your subscription. You are only ever charged for the subscription itself; we do not add late fees.
8.4 Chargebacks. If you dispute a legitimate charge with your bank rather than contacting us first, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. Please contact support@sportsignals.com first: our refund policy in Section 9 resolves most issues faster than a chargeback.
9. Cancelling, cooling-off and refunds
9.1 Cancelling at any time
You can cancel your subscription at any time, online, in no more than a couple of clicks: from your Account page, or via the billing portal. You do not need to phone anyone or give a reason. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (or the end of your trial, if you cancel during a trial): you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. We confirm every cancellation by email. If you cancel during a free trial you will not be charged at all.
9.2 Your statutory cooling-off rights (UK and EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have a legal right to cancel your subscription contract within 14 days of the day you subscribe, without giving a reason.
- If you have not been charged (for example, you are within a free trial), cancelling in this window costs nothing.
- If you have been charged, because you asked us to start supplying the subscription immediately, we will refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days of paid service already supplied before you told us you wished to cancel.
To exercise this right, cancel through your account, email support@sportsignals.com, or use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms. We will refund you within 14 days of your cancellation, using the payment method you paid with.
9.3 Renewal cooling-off (UK consumers)
For consumers in the United Kingdom we also provide a 14 day cooling-off period, on the same refund basis as Section 9.2, each time:
- a free or discounted trial converts into a paid subscription (the 14 days run from the date of the first charge); and
- a subscription renews into a commitment of 12 months or longer (the 14 days run from the renewal date).
This reflects the renewal cooling-off rights being introduced under the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 subscription regime, which we support and apply ahead of its commencement in January 2027.
9.4 Voluntary annual money-back window (everyone)
Separately from your legal rights, if you are charged for your first annual subscription and change your mind, tell us within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full, wherever you live. This applies once per customer, to a first annual purchase.
9.5 Otherwise
Except as set out above or where the law requires otherwise, subscription payments are non-refundable and we do not give credit or refunds for partial billing periods, including where you cancel mid-period or do not use the Service. Nothing in this Section limits your statutory rights, including your rights if the Service is faulty (Section 14.5), or our discretion to offer goodwill refunds case by case.
10. Changes to the Service and these Terms
10.1 We improve the Service continuously and may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the core value of a paid subscription during a period you have paid for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of that period pro rata.
10.2 We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, prices, legal requirements or business changes. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights and you have an active account or subscription, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before it does. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to attempt or help anyone else to:
- use the Service if you are under 18, or in breach of any law that applies to you;
- copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, mine or systematically extract content or data from the Service, whether manually or with bots, scripts, headless browsers or similar tools (standard search engine indexing of public pages in accordance with our robots directives is permitted);
- use any content from the Service to train, fine-tune or ground artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or to build a competing dataset, product or service;
- resell, republish, redistribute, syndicate, frame or make available any part of the Service (including tips, signals, predictions, alerts, odds data or tool outputs) to any third party, whether free or paid, including via messaging groups, social media, newsletters or forums;
- share account credentials or subscriber-only content with non-subscribers, or circumvent, or try to circumvent, any paywall, metering, geo-switching or other access control;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service, probe or test vulnerabilities without written permission, or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- misuse promotional offers, trials or referral mechanics, including through multiple or fraudulent accounts;
- impersonate any person, misrepresent an affiliation with us, or use the Service to send spam or unlawful, deceptive or harmful material.
We may investigate suspected breaches and take any proportionate action, including limiting features, suspending or terminating accounts (Section 15) and pursuing legal remedies.
12. Responsible gambling
12.1 Betting should be entertainment, never a way to make money you rely on, and never more than you can afford to lose. Please set limits, take breaks and keep betting in balance.
12.2 If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, free and confidential help is available:
- UK: the National Gambling Helpline (run by GamCare) on 0808 8020 133 (gamcare.org.uk), NHS gambling support services (nhs.uk), and self-exclusion via GAMSTOP (gamstop.co.uk).
- US: call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline on 1-800-MY-RESET (ncpgambling.org), or Gamblers Anonymous (gamblersanonymous.org).
- More resources, including for other countries, are on our Responsible Gambling page.
12.3 Our commitment. If you tell us you are experiencing gambling harm or have self-excluded (for example via GAMSTOP), we will cancel any paid subscription immediately, refund the unused part of the current period, and, at your request, suppress marketing emails and close your account. Contact support@sportsignals.com.
12.4 We reserve the right to decline or end a subscription where we reasonably believe continuing to supply it would be harmful.
13. Affiliate links, advertising and third-party services
13.1 The Service contains affiliate links to bookmakers and other partners. If you click one of these links and sign up or deposit, we may earn a commission. This never costs you extra and does not change our published model outputs or editorial content. Affiliate and sponsored content is labelled, and our Affiliate Disclosure has full details.
13.2 Bookmakers and other third-party sites you reach from the Service are independent businesses with their own terms, privacy policies, eligibility rules and licensing. Offers shown on the Service (odds, free bets, bonuses) are theirs, may be geo-restricted, may change or be withdrawn, and are subject to their significant terms. Always read the operator's own terms before betting. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, your relationship with any operator, including registration, verification, deposits, withdrawals, bet settlement, account restrictions or offer eligibility.
13.3 Optional delivery channels we offer (for example email alerts or third-party messaging apps) depend on external platforms we do not control, and delivery cannot be guaranteed.
14. Disclaimers and liability
14.1 Service provided as is. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, conditions and representations, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or that data (including odds, statistics, fixtures and results sourced from third-party providers) will be accurate, complete or current.
14.2 No liability for betting outcomes. As set out in Section 3, we are not liable for gambling losses or any other consequence of betting decisions you make, and content on the Service is not advice. Nothing on the Service creates any form of advisory, fiduciary or brokerage relationship.
14.3 What we are liable for. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law (including, for UK consumers, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
14.4 Cap. Subject to Sections 14.2 and 14.3, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) £100. Subject to Section 14.3, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of expected winnings or savings, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.
14.5 UK and EEA consumers: your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, we must supply the Service and any digital content with reasonable care and skill, as described, and (for digital content) of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If we do not, you are entitled to the remedies provided by law (including repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction), and nothing in these Terms affects those rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill; we are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, loss we did not cause, or business losses (the Service is for private consumer use).
14.6 Some jurisdictions (including some US states) do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Where that is the case for you, the relevant exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted, and you may have additional rights.
15. Suspension and termination
15.1 We may suspend or terminate your account or subscription immediately if you materially breach these Terms (including Sections 2, 4.3 and 11), if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where practical and lawful, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
15.2 If we terminate for your material breach, you are not entitled to a refund of the current period. If we terminate your access for any other reason (including withdrawing the Service), we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for pro rata.
15.3 Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 11, 14, 16, 17 and 18) survive.
16. Intellectual property
16.1 The Service and everything in it (including text, articles, statistics compilations, predictions, signals, tips, tools, software, design, databases, logos and the SportSignals name and branding) are owned by Axia Signals Group LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, database rights, trade mark and other laws.
16.2 We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service, and to view and print content, for your personal, non-commercial use only. All other rights are reserved. Section 11 sets out uses that are specifically prohibited.
16.3 Third-party trade marks (including bookmaker names and logos) belong to their owners and are used for identification only; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
16.4 If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction or obligation to you.
16.5 Your content. Where you enter data into the Service (for example tracked bets, notes, settings), you keep ownership of it. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, back up and display it to you and to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter.
17. Governing law and disputes: United States and rest of world
This Section 17 applies to you unless you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, EEA or a country whose law gives you non-waivable rights to different treatment, in which case Section 18 applies.
17.1 Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@sportsignals.com describing the issue, and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you. Most issues get resolved this way.
17.2 Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles, and subject to the Federal Arbitration Act for Section 17.3.
17.3 Binding individual arbitration. You and we agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in English, by a single arbitrator, remotely by video or telephone unless you request an in-person hearing under the AAA rules. The AAA's consumer fee schedule applies; we will pay filing, administration and arbitrator fees beyond the AAA consumer filing fee where the rules or law require. The arbitrator has exclusive authority to resolve disputes about the interpretation, applicability or enforceability of this arbitration agreement, and may award the same individual relief a court could.
17.4 Exceptions. Either party may instead: (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court in a court of competent jurisdiction; or (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or to stop unauthorised access, scraping or redistribution under Section 11.
17.5 Class action and jury waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and we each waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class action, collective action, consolidated proceeding or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding. If this class waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court, and the rest of this Section remains in effect.
17.6 Batch arbitration. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are brought against us by the same or coordinated counsel, the AAA's mass arbitration procedures (or, if none apply, batching in groups of 25 selected by the AAA) will apply so that cases proceed in an orderly way.
17.7 30 day opt-out. You can reject this arbitration agreement (Sections 17.3 to 17.6) without any penalty: email support@sportsignals.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" from your account email, or write to our postal address, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out (or where arbitration does not apply), disputes under this Section 17 will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, USA, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
17.8 Any claim must be brought within one year of the date it arose, unless the law that applies to you does not allow that limitation.
18. Governing law and disputes: United Kingdom and EEA consumers
18.1 If you are a consumer habitually resident in the United Kingdom, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you and we may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts, and if you live in Northern Ireland, in the Northern Irish courts.
18.2 If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EEA, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of, and may bring proceedings under, the law of the country in which you live.
18.3 Section 17 (arbitration, class waiver, one year limitation) does not apply to UK or EEA consumers. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights or your right to bring a complaint to a regulator or consumer protection body.
18.4 If you are a consumer in any other country whose law gives you non-waivable protections, nothing in these Terms deprives you of them: mandatory provisions of your local law apply, Sections 17.3 to 17.6 apply only to the extent your law permits, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where your law requires it.
19. General
19.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the documents they reference (including the checkout terms for your specific subscription and any offer terms), are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
19.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the rest of the Terms remain in force.
19.3 No waiver. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
19.4 Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, provided your rights are not reduced.
19.5 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control (including outages of third-party data providers, hosting or payment services, strikes, or acts of governments), but this does not affect refund rights in Sections 9 and 15.
19.6 Third parties. These Terms do not create rights enforceable by anyone other than you and us (including, for UK users, under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).
19.7 Complaints. If you are unhappy with the Service, contact support@sportsignals.com; we aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and resolve them within 14 days. We are not required to participate in, and do not commit in advance to, any alternative dispute resolution scheme, except as described in Section 17 or required by law.
