Paris Saint Germain 1-1 Arsenal result, stats and report

Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-2 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, with Désiré Doué and late goals from Vitinha and Fabián Ruiz putting the game to bed after Barcelona briefly threatened a comeback.

Noni Madueke's 80th-minute right-foot strike gave Arsenal a hard-fought 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest, with the visitors' superior discipline and desire proving the difference on a day when Forest had plenty of the ball but almost nothing to show for it.

Paris Saint-Germain came from a goal down to beat Strasbourg 3-1 at the Meinau, with Ilya Zabarnyi, Ousmane Dembélé, and Désiré Doué all scoring after the break. Strasbourg competed in patches but lacked the basics to hold a dominant PSG side at bay.

Paris Saint Germain host Lyon on Sunday evening in a Ligue 1 fixture that has a nasty edge to it. The visitors already beat PSG this year. They will not have forgotten that.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will miss the rest of the 2026-27 season after rupturing his ACL in PSG's 4-2 Champions League win over Barcelona, days before Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony. His injury was the most serious of three PSG casualties in the match, with Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos also sidelined for weeks.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been watching Barcelona wonderkid Xavi Espart, but a release clause worth more than €100million against a €25m valuation shows Barcelona have no intention of selling cheaply. This is speculative scouting, not an active transfer pursuit.
