Zagłębie Lubin 2-1 Śląsk Wrocław result, stats and report

Wisła Płock came to Lubin, did the basics, and went home with three points. Zagłębie had the ball, had the shots, and had absolutely nothing to show for any of it.

Wisła Kraków left it late but left it in no doubt, with Alan Uryga heading home in the 93rd minute to complete a 2-1 win over Śląsk Wrocław that the hosts had dominated from the first whistle. Śląsk competed in numbers but not in quality, and on a night where Wisła launched 26 shots to their visitors' five, the result was the bare minimum the home side deserved.

Zagłębie Lubin ended a run of frustrating draws with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Katowice, with Michalis Kosidis netting the winner before a chaotic stoppage time that included a penalty, a VAR review, and multiple yellow cards.

Korona Kielce came from behind to win 2-1 at Śląsk Wrocław, with Simon Gustafson's stoppage-time finish settling a match that Śląsk had more than enough chances to put to bed. The thing is, Śląsk had 17 shots and lost. That tells you everything.

Zagłębie Lubin have not lost in their last five Ekstraklasa matches, but Jagiellonia Białystok arrive in Lubin having already beaten them this year. Something has to give.

Motor Lublin and Śląsk Wrocław meet on Saturday with a combined zero wins between them across their last five matches each. Something has to give, but don't expect a classic.

Lech Poznań arrive in Wrocław having won five Ekstraklasa matches on the spin. Śląsk have not won in their last five. Something has to give.
