Südtirol ran out commanding 4-1 winners at Arezzo in Serie B, with goals from Fabio Rispoli, Vasco Lopes, Kenny Mixtur, and Andrea Giorgini exposing a home side that had no answer once the visitors took control. This was not a close game that went the wrong way. It was an accountability failure.

Sampdoria ended a four-match losing streak in Serie B with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Catanzaro, with Lorenzo Insigne and substitute Tjas Begic providing the goals after Stefan Gartenmann's own goal gave the home side a half-time lead.

Mantova made it count when it mattered, finishing the sharper of two evenly matched sides to claim a 2-0 Serie B win over Sampdoria, whose profligacy in front of goal proved fatal.

Südtirol led through Alvin Okoro's first-half goal but Giuseppe Ambrosino equalised two minutes from time to snatch a point for Modena in a match the visitors dominated on the numbers.

Sampdoria have not won in five Serie B matches and have conceded nine goals in the process. Arezzo arrive at the Ferraris having shipped nine goals of their own on their travels, making this a fixture full of alarming questions for both camps.

Juve Stabia have kept zero clean sheets in their last five Serie B matches and conceded eight goals. Südtirol arrive unbeaten in five. Something has to give.

Südtirol arrive at this Serie B fixture having conceded just once in five matches. Ascoli have won two of their three completed games and are not coming here to sit back.
