Napoli 1-0 Udinese result, stats and report

AS Roma put five past a hapless Udinese side in a remarkable first-half blitz at the Bluenergy Stadium, with goals from Bryan Cristante, Rodrigo Mora, Donyell Malen and Evan Ndicka putting the game to bed before the break. Udinese had the ball, the chances and absolutely nothing to show for it where it mattered.

Napoli put four past Monza at the Stadio Brianteo on Wednesday night, with Rasmus Højlund, Matteo Politano, Rafa Marín and Kevin De Bruyne all on the scoresheet. Monza were second best in every department that matters.

Parma and Udinese played out a goalless draw at the Tardini, with Adrián Bernabé's missed penalty the defining moment in a match that neither side truly deserved to win.

Scott McTominay scored twice for Napoli but Leonardo Balerdi's 89th-minute header denied the hosts all three points in a chaotic six-goal draw at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Allegri was sent to the stands in injury time to cap a night of pure madness.

Sassuolo have conceded 15 goals in their last five Serie A matches. Napoli arrive with goals in their boots and a point to prove.

Manchester City welcome Napoli to the Etihad on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League. Both sides have questions to answer. Only one can afford to leave them unanswered.

Udinese arrive in Bologna without a single point from their last five Serie A matches. Bologna are far from convincing themselves, but this is exactly the kind of fixture a home side should win.
