Moreirense 0-1 Gil Vicente result, stats and report

Vitória Guimarães rescued a point deep into injury time through Toni Borevković, cancelling out Tiago Andrade's second-half opener for Moreirense in a game that told you everything about where both clubs are right now.

Gil Vicente dominated large portions of this Liga Portugal contest but were denied all three points when Israel Isaac Ayuma equalised for Marítimo in the 90th minute, cancelling out Murilo de Souza Costa's early opener.

Marítimo came to Moreirense and did the basics better, scoring twice in the first half and adding a penalty late on to run out 3-1 winners. Moreirense had the ball, had the attacks, and produced nothing with either.

Benfica came from behind to beat Gil Vicente 3-1 at home in Liga Portugal, with Vangelis Pavlidis scoring twice and Gianluca Prestianni adding a late third to extend Benfica's unbeaten run in the competition.

Benfica were ruthless and relentless at Moreirense, scoring four without reply to continue their dominant run in the Liga Portugal. Moreirense offered nothing going forward and were carved apart in the second half.

Porto ground out a 2-1 win over Moreirense at home in the Liga Portugal, with William Gomes and Jan Bednarek on target, but Moreirense made it uncomfortable before finishing the match with ten men.

Francisco Miguel Teixeira Domingues struck on 24 minutes and Moreirense held on to claim a 1-0 victory at Casa Pia, despite the hosts outshowing their visitors in almost every attacking metric. Casa Pia had 14 shots and hit the woodwork twice but could not find a way through.

Moreirense have shipped 12 goals in their last five Liga Portugal matches and now face a Gil Vicente side that has kept clean sheets in three of their last five. Something has to give.
