Mjällby vs Malmö FF prediction, odds and how to watch

Nikola Vasic scored twice in five second-half minutes as GAIS dismantled a shambolic Mjällby side 3-0, extending the hosts' run without a clean sheet to ten matches in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Mjällby dominated the ball and outshot AIK on the night, but a Jacob Bergström header gave the hosts an early lead that Axel Kouame cancelled out before half-time. A draw was probably the right result, even if neither side will be satisfied.

Malmö FF put on a commanding performance at home, running out 4-1 winners against Örgryte in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Three second-half goals sealed a victory that the stats made look entirely justified.

Mjällby bossed large parts of this match with 17 shots and 58% possession but could not find a winner, as Häcken held on after Jacob Bergström's early header was cancelled out by Julius Lindberg's second-half equaliser.

Malmö FF host Häcken at Eleda Stadion on Sunday 18 October in a Swedish Allsvenskan clash that pits a home side building momentum against visitors who simply refuse to be beaten cleanly. Something has to give.

Västerås SK host a Mjällby side that has conceded 12 goals in their last five matches. Sunday's lunchtime fixture in the Swedish Allsvenskan looks like a serious test of Mjällby's defensive accountability.

Kalmar arrive at Malmö FF having won none of their last five Allsvenskan matches and conceding nine goals in the process. The thing is, Malmö have kept a clean sheet in five of their last ten. Work that out.

Mjällby have conceded 14 goals in their last five Allsvenskan matches and cannot buy a clean sheet. Degerfors arrive with three wins from five but a longer record that tells a different story.
