Marítimo 1-0 Casa Pia result, stats and report

Casa Pia came from behind to beat Estoril 2-1 at home, with substitute Benjamin Pauwels settling the match in the 89th minute after a frantic final quarter of football.

Gil Vicente dominated large portions of this Liga Portugal contest but were denied all three points when Israel Isaac Ayuma equalised for Marítimo in the 90th minute, cancelling out Murilo de Souza Costa's early opener.

Marítimo came to Moreirense and did the basics better, scoring twice in the first half and adding a penalty late on to run out 3-1 winners. Moreirense had the ball, had the attacks, and produced nothing with either.

Porto swept aside a toothless Casa Pia 4-1 in the Liga Portugal, with goals from André Silva, Jakub Kiwior, Borja Sainz and Santiago Gimenez completing a comfortable afternoon for the visitors. Casa Pia's discipline collapsed along with their defensive line, as four yellow cards told their own story.

Vitória Guimarães and Casa Pia played out a goalless draw in Liga Portugal, a result that flattered both sides but solved nothing for a Vitória team that has won just once in their last five matches.

Francisco Miguel Teixeira Domingues struck on 24 minutes and Moreirense held on to claim a 1-0 victory at Casa Pia, despite the hosts outshowing their visitors in almost every attacking metric. Casa Pia had 14 shots and hit the woodwork twice but could not find a way through.

Porto arrive at Marítimo on Saturday having won all five of their last completed Liga Portugal matches, conceding just one goal across that run. Marítimo have shipped eight in five. This is not a contest. It is a test of how badly Porto want the clean sheet.

Casa Pia have not scored in five consecutive Liga Portugal matches and face a Santa Clara side who have not lost in their last five. Something has to give on Saturday.
