KV Kortrijk vs Mechelen prediction, odds and how to watch

KV Kortrijk finally got off the mark in the Belgian Pro League with a narrow 1-0 victory over SK Beveren, Jamie Roche's 52nd-minute finish doing just enough to separate two sides with very different stories to tell.

A goalless stalemate at Lommel SK saw Mechelen create the clearer opportunities but fail to convert, with Lommel's goalkeeper making four saves to preserve a point that does little for either side.

La Louvière ended a run of four straight Belgian Pro League defeats with a commanding 3-0 victory over KV Kortrijk, as Mustapha Isah struck twice and substitute Elias Filet added a late third. Kortrijk, winless in their last five, had no answer.

Anderlecht won 1-0 at Mechelen thanks to Tawfik Bentayeb's first-half finish, despite the home side controlling possession and racking up four yellow cards in a frustrating night at the AFAS Stadion.

Mechelen twice led at La Louvière but could not hold on, as a 2-2 draw left both sides with precious little to show for their efforts in the Belgian Pro League.

Sporting Charleroi made it four wins from five in the Belgian Pro League with a convincing 3-1 victory at KV Kortrijk, a side that has now conceded six goals without reply in their two previous outings and looks badly short of the basics.

Mechelen have not won a single Belgian Pro League match across their last ten, and Sint-Truiden arrive on Sunday having beaten them 3-0 in the most recent meeting between these sides. Something has to give.

KV Kortrijk arrive in Genk having lost five consecutive Belgian Pro League matches and scored just once. Genk have their own inconsistencies to sort out, but this is a game they should be winning.
