Hammarby 3-0 Västerås SK result, stats and report

Hammarby put in a commanding display at home, running out 3-1 winners against Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Paulos Abraham's early goal set the tone, and Brommapojkarna simply could not live with the pressure.

Västerås SK produced a stunning second-half turnaround to thrash AIK 4-1 at home, scoring four times after the break to leave the hosts with serious questions to answer about their defensive standards and attitude.

AIK won a chaotic Stockholm derby 3-2 against Hammarby, with substitute Sixten Gustafsson scoring the winner in the 83rd minute despite Hammarby producing twice as many shots and controlling the lion's share of possession.

Halmstad have conceded 16 goals in their last 10 Allsvenskan matches and now face a Hammarby side that has scored 24 in the same window. Something has to give on Sunday.

Västerås SK host a Mjällby side that has conceded 12 goals in their last five matches. Sunday's lunchtime fixture in the Swedish Allsvenskan looks like a serious test of Mjällby's defensive accountability.

Hammarby host Djurgården in a Stockholm derby on Sunday with both sides in serious form, but it is the visitors' defensive record that makes this one genuinely difficult to call.

IFK Göteborg head into Friday's Allsvenskan clash carrying genuine home form and a point to prove after a patchy wider run. Västerås SK arrive organised but limited in attack, and the only question that matters is whether Göteborg have the desire to see it out.
