Grenoble Foot 38 1-0 Troyes result, stats and report

Lens picked up a convincing 3-1 win at Troyes on Saturday evening, with Timothé Nkada's first-half strike and a Florian Thauvin-inspired second half proving too much for a Troyes side that had the ball but none of the cutting edge. A calamitous own goal set the tone for a night Troyes will want to forget quickly.

Marseille made it look straightforward at Troyes, with Amine Harit's second-half finish and a stoppage-time penalty securing a 2-0 victory over a home side that lacked the basics to compete.

Angers made it count when it mattered, with goals from Prosper Peter and Amine Sbaï securing a comfortable 2-0 home win over a Troyes side that created next to nothing and showed very little desire to compete.

Grenoble Foot 38 looked set to claim all three points after Yoann Salmier's own goal gave them the lead, but Adrien Hunou's 90th-minute header earned Clermont a 1-1 draw in Ligue 2.

Two of Ligue 1's most battered sides meet on Friday night. Someone has to end their losing run. Do not be too sure it will happen.

Troyes have lost every one of their last five Ligue 1 matches and conceded fifteen goals in the process. Le Mans arrive in no great shape either, but one of these sides has to stop the rot on Saturday night.

Troyes arrive in Toulouse having lost all five of their completed Ligue 1 matches, conceding fifteen goals along the way. This is not a contest. It is a reckoning.

Paris Saint-Germain host a Troyes side that have conceded thirteen goals in five Ligue 1 matches. This should be straightforward. The question is whether PSG actually turn up.
