GAIS 1-1 Degerfors result, stats and report

Nikola Vasic scored twice in five second-half minutes as GAIS dismantled a shambolic Mjällby side 3-0, extending the hosts' run without a clean sheet to ten matches in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Djurgården made it four wins from their last five Allsvenskan matches with a composed 2-0 home victory over GAIS, goals from Kristian Strømland Lien and B. Hegland doing the damage either side of half-time. GAIS finished the match with two red cards and no answer to a Djurgården defence that simply refused to be broken.

Sirius earned a deserved 2-0 win over Degerfors in the Swedish Allsvenskan, recovering from a second-minute own goal scare to dominate the contest through desire, duels, and a clinical first-half finish from Melker Heier.

Elfsborg controlled this Swedish Allsvenskan fixture from the first whistle, with Leo Östman opening the scoring in the 13th minute and substitute Ari Sigurpálsson sealing it late on. Degerfors never looked like competing.

Mjällby have conceded 14 goals in their last five Allsvenskan matches and cannot buy a clean sheet. Degerfors arrive with three wins from five but a longer record that tells a different story.

GAIS host a Sirius side that has won just once in their last five Allsvenskan matches, with Saturday's clash offering the home side a genuine opportunity to capitalise on their opponents' defensive frailty.
