Falkirk 1-2 Dundee result, stats and report

Dundee came from behind to beat Motherwell 2-1 at home, with Alex Lowry's 44th-minute equaliser proving the platform for a second-half winner despite Motherwell creating five big chances and hitting the woodwork twice.

St. Johnstone rescued a draw through an injury-time free-kick from Enes Alic after Falkirk's Ethan Ross had given the visitors the lead on 60 minutes. A chaotic finale, four yellow cards, a red card, and a woodwork strike summed up a match that had more edge than quality.

Hearts ground out a 2-1 victory at Falkirk on Tuesday evening, with goals from Ben Krauhaus and Owen Eames enough to claim three points despite Falkirk's James Wilson pulling one back. It was a result that flattered neither side, but Hearts had the ruthlessness when it mattered.

Camilo Durán scored twice inside the first half-hour to put Celtic in control, but Falkirk's own goal consolation made for a nervy finish at Parkhead. Celtic won it. They just did not make it look easy.

Hibernian took all three points at Dens Park on Sunday, winning 2-1 despite a late Joe Westley header giving Dundee brief hope. Martin Boyle and Callum Wright did the damage for the visitors.

Rangers arrive in Dundee on Saturday night with four wins from their last five Scottish Premiership matches. Dundee have lost two of their last three and cannot afford another soft showing at home.

Hibernian have lost three Scottish Premiership matches on the bounce and kept zero clean sheets in their last ten. Falkirk arrive battered but dangerous enough to make this deeply uncomfortable for the home side.

Falkirk have not won in five Scottish Premiership matches and have conceded seven goals in that run. Dundee arrive at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday with five wins from their last ten and a point to prove after back-to-back defeats.
