Charlton vs Bolton Wanderers prediction, odds and how to watch

Norwich ended a run of five straight Championship defeats with a composed 3-1 win at Charlton, with Paris Maghoma and Mathias Kvistgaarden doing the damage. Charlton were desperate, disorganised, and ultimately nowhere near good enough.

Middlesbrough dismantled Bolton Wanderers 5-1 at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Friday night, with Will Lankshear bagging a brace and the hosts' defence completely falling apart after the break.

Southampton bossed possession and created the better chances but could not turn their dominance into goals, as Bolton Wanderers held firm for a point at St Mary's.

Charlton Athletic put in a composed away performance to beat Watford 2-0, with goals from Luca Kjerrumgaard and Jordan Zemura condemning the hosts to a fourth defeat in five Championship matches.

Charlton arrive at Molineux on Saturday without a Championship win in their last five matches. Wolves have problems of their own, but this is the kind of fixture you have to take three points from.

Bolton Wanderers host Portsmouth at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Saturday, with the home side carrying genuine belief after three wins from their last five Championship outings. Portsmouth come in patched up and inconsistent. Something has to give.

Middlesbrough have not lost in five Championship matches but they keep leaking goals. Charlton arrive without a win in five. Something has to give.

Bolton Wanderers head into Saturday's clash with form, goals, and genuine belief. Bristol City arrive having scored twice in five matches. This one is already decided in my head.
