Celta Vigo vs Bournemouth prediction, odds and how to watch

Celta Vigo and Real Betis played out a goalless draw at Balaídos on Sunday, a match with plenty of attempts but precious little quality in the final third from either side.

Celta Vigo have won once in their last five Europa League matches and conceded ten goals along the way. Bournemouth arrive having won all three of their completed Europa League fixtures, keeping two clean sheets in the process.

Real Madrid return to La Liga action on Saturday night against a Celta Vigo side that has not lost in five matches. The Bernabeu expects a response.

Michael Carrick insisted Manchester United are 'not an unmanageable club' hours before his side were thrashed 3-0 by Bournemouth, extending their winless run to eight games and leaving him facing the sack. The humiliation came with captain Bruno Fernandes dropped amid open dissent from senior players.

Alex Scott has rejected a new Bournemouth contract, leaving the England midfielder open to Liverpool and Chelsea interest in January. But with Chelsea simultaneously chasing Frenkie de Jong, Adam Wharton and Manu Kone, Scott's link is just one strand of a sprawling midfield wishlist.

Michael Carrick must decide whether to drop captain Bruno Fernandes for Sunday's Bournemouth clash after the midfielder blamed the coaching staff, not the players, for United's 4-1 Champions League defeat at Como. With Lisandro Martinez fined for a similar outburst and Carrick himself fighting for his job, the decision is less about tactics than about who really controls Manchester United.
