Burton Albion 2-2 Mansfield Town result, stats and report

Burton Albion came from a dominant position to put three past Oxford United in the final fifteen minutes, with Siriki Dembélé, Louie Sibley, and Gatlin O'Donkor sealing a comprehensive away win. Oxford had the lion's share of possession but could not find a way through when it mattered.

Huddersfield Town bossed Mansfield Town from start to finish with 59% possession and 19 shots, but a red card for the hosts and stubborn defending produced a goalless draw that will frustrate both camps for different reasons.

Burton Albion dominated large portions of this League One contest but left Meadow Lane with nothing, as Notts County's early Finn Delap header proved the difference in a 2-1 result.

Mansfield Town put on a ruthless display at home, thrashing Luton Town 5-2 in League One thanks to a brace from Nathan Moriah-Welsh in the first half and two more from Jon Russell after the break. Luton had the ball but Mansfield had the desire, and that tells you everything.

Burton Albion led twice through Gassan Ahadme's double but Curtis Tilt's 90th-minute header for Cambridge United denied the hosts all three points at the Pirelli Stadium.

Oxford United arrive at Field Mill in form that demands respect, while Mansfield's recent record makes uncomfortable reading. Thursday night under the lights could get ugly.

Doncaster Rovers have not won in their last five League One matches and cannot keep a clean sheet. Burton Albion keep drawing matches they should be winning. Something has to give on Saturday.
