Bournemouth 3-0 Crystal Palace result, stats and report

Alexander Isak's 57th-minute strike was enough to give Liverpool all three points at the Vitality Stadium, as Bournemouth's winless run in their last five Premier League matches continued.

Crystal Palace have conceded 23 goals in their last ten Premier League matches and they host a Nottingham Forest side that refuses to be beaten easily. Something has to give at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

Bournemouth have not won a Premier League match in their last five attempts, drawing four of them. Sunderland arrive with problems of their own. Something has to give.

Oliver Glasner returns to Crystal Palace with Nottingham Forest on Sunday insisting his exit was never personal, even as Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis sues Palace over a fan banner and bitterness lingers from Forest's Uefa complaint that cost Palace their Europa League place.

A congested four-match international break has left Kai Havertz, Alex Scott and a string of Premier League assets injured, and Thomas Tuchel's 'zero risk taken from our side' comment has exposed how little accountability federations carry when clubs are left to pick up the pieces.

Alex Scott played through thigh pain to star on his full England debut in the 7-0 win over Croatia, but the injury has worsened into a problem that could keep him out for two months, prompting Thomas Tuchel to apologise to Bournemouth manager Marco Rose.

Chelsea discussed and dropped a free-transfer move for Georginio Wijnaldum, choosing instead to hold out for Alex Scott and Adam Wharton in January despite both already turning them down once this year. Bournemouth and Crystal Palace show no signs of budging, setting up a tense midwinter standoff over Enzo Maresca's biggest tactical need.

Liverpool beat Bournemouth thanks to a late Alexander Isak winner, but a first-half display so poor it left Andoni Iraola fuming has turned Florian Wirtz's slow Premier League start into a mounting talking point. Troy Deeney's on-air verdict and a 63 per cent pass completion rate suggest the club-record signing's struggles are becoming a pattern, not a one-off.
