Avellino vs Pisa prediction, odds and how to watch

Mantova looked set to hold on for all three points before Vanja Vlahović equalised deep into stoppage time to earn Pisa a 2-2 draw in a bad-tempered, open Serie B encounter.

Avellino came from behind to beat Ascoli 3-1 in Serie B, with Andrea Silipo scoring twice in the final twenty minutes to seal a result that the stats suggest was entirely deserved.

Walid Cheddira gave Avellino the lead on the hour mark but Dennis Johnsen equalised within three minutes for Palermo, leaving the hosts to rue three big chances missed in a frustrating 1-1 draw.

Virtus Entella dismantled Pisa at home with a commanding 4-1 victory, scoring three times before half-time to put the result beyond doubt. Connor Maguire breaks down where Pisa fell apart and why Entella deserved every bit of it.

Avellino put Vicenza to the sword with three goals in a ruthless home performance, with Andrea Favilli pulling the strings and the visitors failing to convert despite dominating possession.

Cesena have drawn three of their last five Serie B matches and kept zero clean sheets in that run. Avellino arrive with five wins from their last ten and a defence that has kept opponents out in half of those games.

Two Serie B sides with identical problems meet at the Arena Garibaldi on Saturday. Neither Pisa nor Cremonese have convinced anyone yet, and that makes this one genuinely hard to call.

Vicenza head into Saturday's Serie B clash without a clean sheet in their last three matches, while Pisa arrive having won two of their last three and conceding just twice. Something has to give.
