Athletic Club have drawn three of their last five La Liga matches and cannot afford another stalemate. Espanyol arrive with three losses in their last five and a defence that has been wide open.

Rayo Vallecano host a Valencia side riddled with injuries and short on wins. Saturday's fixture has the look of a match where desire and basics decide everything.
