AS Roma 2-0 Genoa result, stats and report

Manchester United came from behind twice to beat AS Roma 3-2 at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League, with Matheus Cunha scoring twice in the final ten minutes to settle a chaotic, card-filled night.

Genoa came from behind to beat Lecce 2-1 at the Stadio Via del Mare, with Milutin Osmajic and Junior Messias both scoring inside the first half hour to secure a deserved away victory. Lecce pulled one back through a Youssef Maleh free kick but never truly threatened an equaliser.

AS Roma put five past a hapless Udinese side in a remarkable first-half blitz at the Bluenergy Stadium, with goals from Bryan Cristante, Rodrigo Mora, Donyell Malen and Evan Ndicka putting the game to bed before the break. Udinese had the ball, the chances and absolutely nothing to show for it where it mattered.

Genoa put Juventus to the sword at home with two first-half goals from Kingsley Ehizibue and Tommaso Baldanzi, exposing a Juventus side that dominated possession but did absolutely nothing with it.

Genoa arrive at this Sunday's Serie A fixture on the back of four wins from their last five matches. Torino, meanwhile, have shipped eight goals in five away outings and are running out of reasons for optimism.

Bologna come into Friday's fixture on a strong run of form, but AS Roma arrive at the Stadio Dall'Ara having scored freely in recent weeks. Something has to give.

AS Roma host a Monza outfit in freefall at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, and the numbers do not lie. This one looks straightforward, but football has a habit of making you look stupid.

Inter head into Saturday's clash with Genoa having dropped just two points at home in their last five Serie A matches. Genoa arrive short-handed and with a patchy record that demands serious scrutiny.
