Al Hilal tore Al Taawoun apart in the Saudi Pro League, winning 6-0 with Gabriel Martinelli scoring a hat-trick and Ollie Watkins netting twice in a performance that was clinical from the first whistle.

Al Riyadh bossed possession and created more than NEOM SC in almost every department, but Teddy Okou's 61st-minute strike settled a scrappy Saudi Pro League contest in favour of the visitors. Sometimes the ball goes in and sometimes it doesn't. That's football.

Al Khaleej ground out a goalless draw with Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League, but the numbers tell a story of two sides who cannot finish and one side that simply cannot score. Neither kept a clean sheet with any conviction. They just ran out of ideas at the same time.

Al Taawoun controlled the match from start to finish but could not convert four big chances, leaving the points shared in a goalless draw against Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Ahli were utterly dominant at home, with Ivan Toney converting two penalties and Eduard Spertsyan and Francisco Trincão adding further goals to seal a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League.

Al Shabab controlled almost every statistical category but somehow ended level with Al Riyadh, a 3-3 draw that tells you more about structural fragility than anything else. This was a coaching problem on both sides of the ball.

Al Hilal arrive at Al Riyadh on Friday in the kind of form that makes you feel sorry for whoever is next on the fixture list. Al Riyadh are next on the fixture list.
