Al Hazm 0-3 Al Hilal result, stats and report

Al Hilal tore Al Taawoun apart in the Saudi Pro League, winning 6-0 with Gabriel Martinelli scoring a hat-trick and Ollie Watkins netting twice in a performance that was clinical from the first whistle.

Al Ahli were far too good for Al Hazm on Friday night, with Ivan Toney and Francisco Trincão combining to put the game to bed before half-time. Al Hazm had no answer for a side that created nine big chances and dominated every meaningful statistic.

Al Hilal were ruthless in Riyadh, scoring four times before half-time to put Al Khaleej to the sword in a 5-1 Saudi Pro League hammering. Milinkovic-Savic, Summerville, and Theo Hernández were among the scorers in a first half that left the hosts with nowhere to hide.

Al Hilal's five-match winning run came to a stunning halt at home as NEOM SC claimed a 2-0 victory, with Kalidou Koulibaly's own goal and a Amadou Koné strike doing the damage. It was a night where Al Hilal's standards slipped badly, and NEOM made them pay.

Al Hazm dominated large portions of this Saudi Pro League fixture but saw three signals go bust as Al Faisaly held firm for a goalless draw, despite Al Hazm picking up five yellow cards on a poor afternoon for both attacks.

Al Hilal arrive at Al Riyadh on Friday in the kind of form that makes you feel sorry for whoever is next on the fixture list. Al Riyadh are next on the fixture list.

Al Hazm host Al Fateh on Thursday 15 October in a Saudi Pro League fixture that two struggling sides simply cannot afford to lose. Neither team has looked convincing in recent weeks, and something has to give.

Richard Hughes has left Liverpool as sporting director after just 15 months to join Al Hilal, walking out with 21 months still on his contract weeks after sanctioning a £200m summer rebuild. His exit compounds instability at Anfield's decision-making core as FSG faces a second major leadership vacancy in barely a year.
