They were not lucky to win. They were the better side by some distance in terms of what actually mattered: getting into dangerous positions and making things happen.

The crossing stats are worth noting. Viking completed 11 accurate crosses from 26 attempts. Lillestrøm managed 2 from 15. That is not a tactical observation. That is just poor execution of a basic skill. If you cannot deliver the ball when you get wide, you are wasting your time getting there.

Viking also made 11 interceptions to Lillestrøm's 3. They were switched on defensively, they read the game, and they made life difficult. That is accountability in action. Every player doing their job when the ball is not at their feet. You do not see that from sides that do not care about the result.
