Sirius are top of the Allsvenskan. They have lost zero games this season. They had 22 shots, 57 dangerous attacks, and nine shots on target. And they drew 2-2 at home to a Brommapojkarna side sitting 13th in the table who have not won any of their last five games overall.
That is the thing is. The numbers can be as good as you like. If you do not see the game out, none of it counts for anything.
A First Half That Told You Everything
Sirius looked sharp early. They went ahead through a right-foot finish in the 17th minute, and two minutes later, effectively, they doubled it. A second goal arrived in the 23rd minute. Two up at home. Against a side in poor form. Job done. Comfortable. Shut the door.
They could not shut the door. Brommapojkarna pulled one back two minutes later, in the 25th minute, and then equalised in the 28th. Four goals in eleven minutes. The whole match ripped open inside half an hour.
That is not bad luck. That is a defensive collapse. Sirius went from two up to level in the time it takes to make a cup of tea. That is unacceptable at any level. At the top of a league, with standards to protect, it is worse.
Both Brommapojkarna goals came from open play. No set-piece good fortune to hide behind. No deflections mentioned. They were scored, and Sirius allowed them to be scored. That is the beginning and end of the accountability conversation.

Sirius are still top. They are thirteen wins, two draws, zero losses from fifteen games. Their goal difference sits at plus twenty-five. They have forty-one points. The lead over second place is eleven points. This draw hurts but it does not define their season.
What it does is raise a question that needs answering. This is a side averaging nearly three goals per game in attack. But eighty percent of their home games in the last five have seen both teams score. Twenty percent clean sheet rate at home over that same period. They are leaking goals they should not be leaking.
A side with this much attacking quality and this much control over games should be winning more cleanly. When you dominate to this degree, and the scoreline is still level, someone in that dressing room needs to look hard at the basics of defending a lead. You go two up, you make it three. You do not invite a team back in. That is the standard. Sirius are capable of it. Today they did not meet it.
