Okay here is where I make questionable decisions and own them completely. For the Saturday Special, I am rolling Nashville SC to win into a wider weekend acca. The logic is simple. Home advantage, model backing them, slight edge in stability at the back when you factor in the pressure of an away game at that stadium.

If you want a braver call... Nashville to win and under 2.5 goals in the game. Two tight defences, both protecting leads well, both disciplined. Could absolutely finish 1-0. I actually looked at the numbers for once and the combined defensive records make a case for a low-scoring contest.

Correct score punt for the real degens among us? Nashville 1-0. Get it on. Back to the drawing board if it does not come in, as per usual.

This is one of the most evenly matched games of the MLS weekend. Two top-of-the-table sides, both with outstanding defensive records and plenty of goals in them. Nashville get the nod from the model and from me, purely on the basis of being at home.
