Zürich 2-1 Vaduz result, stats and report

Thun claimed all three points at Vaduz on Sunday, winning 2-1 in the Swiss Super League thanks to a dominant second-half display, while the hosts self-destructed with five yellow cards and a performance that raised serious questions about their basic standards.

Vaduz came from behind to beat Zürich 2-1 in the Swiss Super League, with Umeh Emmanuel's 90th-minute right-foot finish sealing a win that Zürich's defending simply did not deserve to avoid.

Vaduz ended a four-match losing run in style, hammering Grasshopper 5-2 in the Swiss Super League thanks to a brace from Juan Cabrera and an early goal from Lutfi Dalipi. Grasshopper's injury problems and defensive fragility were ruthlessly exposed.

A team that could not defend, could not stay disciplined, and could not compete when it mattered.

Two teams who cannot keep a clean sheet between them meet on Sunday. Something has to give, and the evidence says it will probably be both defences at once.

Two of the Swiss Super League's leakiest defences meet on Saturday. Someone has to lose. The question is how many goals it takes to get there.
