Young Boys 4-2 Vaduz result, stats and report

Thun claimed all three points at Vaduz on Sunday, winning 2-1 in the Swiss Super League thanks to a dominant second-half display, while the hosts self-destructed with five yellow cards and a performance that raised serious questions about their basic standards.

Young Boys came from two goals down to beat Servette 3-2 in the Swiss Super League, with Samuel Essende scoring twice in the final twenty minutes to seal a dramatic home victory.

Vaduz came from behind to beat Zürich 2-1 in the Swiss Super League, with Umeh Emmanuel's 90th-minute right-foot finish sealing a win that Zürich's defending simply did not deserve to avoid.

Lugano's five-match winning run was halted as Young Boys fought back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw, with substitute Albian Ajeti's 80th-minute strike completing the comeback.

Young Boys led twice and dominated large portions of the match but could not hold Basel out, as a 3-3 draw at home left points on the table and serious defensive questions unanswered.

Vaduz ended a four-match losing run in style, hammering Grasshopper 5-2 in the Swiss Super League thanks to a brace from Juan Cabrera and an early goal from Lutfi Dalipi. Grasshopper's injury problems and defensive fragility were ruthlessly exposed.

Two teams who cannot keep a clean sheet between them meet on Sunday. Something has to give, and the evidence says it will probably be both defences at once.

Grasshopper have conceded 13 goals in their last five Swiss Super League matches. Young Boys have scored 16 in theirs. Something has to give.
