VfL Wolfsburg 0-0 Kaiserslautern result, stats and report

VfL Wolfsburg dismantled Darmstadt 98 5-1 in a dominant 2. Bundesliga Friday night fixture, with Alexander Bernhardsson scoring twice and Robert Glatzel heading home a brace as the hosts controlled proceedings from first whistle to last.

Magdeburg put on a clinical home display to dismantle Kaiserslautern 3-0, with Emmanuel Iyoha grabbing a brace and the hosts winning comfortably despite going into the match off the back of a poor recent run.

VfL Wolfsburg produced a dominant display to dismantle Karlsruher SC 5-2, with Fabian Reese bagging a brace and the visitors controlling large portions of the contest from the front to the back.

Kaiserslautern came to Hamburg and earned a deserved 2-1 win over FC St. Pauli, with substitute Abdoulie Ceesay scoring the winner a minute after coming on. St. Pauli had no answer for a visiting side that dominated the match from start to finish.

Kaiserslautern were dominant throughout as goals from Mário Sauer and Thierry Tazemeta sealed a comfortable 2-0 win over a Darmstadt 98 side that had no answer and no desire to find one.

Two sides with more questions than answers meet at the Betzenberg on Saturday. Kaiserslautern need to prove last month's 0-3 hammering was a blip. Bochum need to prove they can keep a clean sheet away from home.

VfL Wolfsburg host 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday with questions hanging over their defensive basics. Heidenheim arrive having won four of their last five in the 2. Bundesliga and they will not be afraid of the Volkswagen Arena.
