Start 2-0 Vålerenga result, stats and report

Sebastian Jarl's 76th-minute left-foot finish earned Vålerenga a share of the spoils, but a fifth match without a win tells you everything you need to know about where this club is right now.

Vålerenga put in a composed away performance to beat Lillestrøm 2-0 in the Norwegian Eliteserien, with Ruben Gabrielsen heading the visitors in front before Thomas Lehne Olsen wrapped it up deep into stoppage time.

Aalesund and Vålerenga served up one of the matches of the season in Norway, sharing ten goals in a draw that tells you everything about two sides with absolutely no interest in defending. Connor Maguire gives it to you straight.

Vålerenga have not kept a clean sheet in their last ten Eliteserien matches and conceded fifteen goals in their last five alone. Brann arrive with something to prove after back-to-back defeats, and the numbers suggest this will not be pretty.

Two teams who cannot stop conceding goals meet at KFUM on Monday evening. Something has to give, and the data suggests it might be both defences at once.

Vålerenga have conceded sixteen goals in their last five Eliteserien matches and are yet to keep a clean sheet in that run. Fredrikstad arrive in Oslo having won four of their last five.

Sarpsborg 08 have been formidable at home this season but their overall form is sliding. Vålerenga arrive with a defence that has conceded 34 goals in 17 games and a clean sheet percentage of zero on the road.
