Reims dominated possession and territory but could not find a winner against a Montpellier side who equalised through Yaya Fofana and then had a man sent off. A point each, and Reims will feel they left two on the table.

Dijon came from behind to beat Annecy 2-1 in Ligue 2 on Friday night, with substitute Julio Tavarès scoring twice after the hour mark to take all three points away from home.

Dijon claimed a 3-2 victory over Laval in Ligue 2 despite being second best for large portions of the match, with Samy Chouchane's third-minute opener setting the tone for a chaotic evening in Burgundy.

Reims took all three points at Nancy on Friday night, scoring twice in the first half through Yaya Fofana and Chamsedin Kouranfal before holding on as Nancy threw everything at them. Nancy had 19 shots and dominated possession but a chronic lack of cutting edge cost them.

Reims put four past Red Star in Paris on Saturday afternoon, with Youssef El Kachati scoring twice as the visitors' clinical edge completely undid a Red Star side that had more of the ball but none of the cutting edge that mattered.

Reims have not lost in their last ten Ligue 2 matches and carry genuine momentum into Friday night. Dijon arrive having won just once in their last five, and the gap in form could not be much clearer.

Dijon have failed to keep a single clean sheet in their last five Ligue 2 matches. Metz arrive on Monday without a defeat in five. Something has to give.

Nantes have shipped 11 goals in five Ligue 2 matches and cannot afford another soft performance at home. Reims arrive unbeaten and will fancy this.
