Le Mans 1-1 Reims result, stats and report

Toulouse were ruthless and clinical at Le Mans on Friday night, winning 3-0 with goals from Jacen Russell-Rowe, Aron Dønnum, and Casper Tengstedt to record a dominant away victory in Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain made hard work of it but goals from Kvaratskhelia and Akliouche after the hour settled a contest that Le Mans briefly threatened to make uncomfortable. The visitors finished with five yellow cards and no credit in the bank.

Le Mans ended a four-match winless run in Ligue 1 by beating Lorient 2-1, with Habib Diallo's second-half header proving the difference after a chaotic opening that saw Lorient reduced to uncomfortable terms early on.

Reims dominated possession and territory but could not find a winner against a Montpellier side who equalised through Yaya Fofana and then had a man sent off. A point each, and Reims will feel they left two on the table.

Troyes have lost every one of their last five Ligue 1 matches and conceded fifteen goals in the process. Le Mans arrive in no great shape either, but one of these sides has to stop the rot on Saturday night.

Auxerre host Le Mans on Sunday afternoon with form pointing firmly in the home side's favour. Le Mans have not kept a clean sheet in five Ligue 1 outings and they are running out of places to hide.

Monaco arrive at Le Mans without a Ligue 1 defeat in their last five matches. Le Mans need to show they can compete, and right now the evidence says they cannot.

Reims have not lost in their last ten Ligue 2 matches and carry genuine momentum into Friday night. Dijon arrive having won just once in their last five, and the gap in form could not be much clearer.
