Kaiserslautern 2-0 DSC Arminia Bielefeld result, stats and report

1. FC Heidenheim created chances for fun and bossed the ball at the SchücoArena, but DSC Arminia Bielefeld pinched a draw thanks to two substitutes and a keeper who earned his wages. A point each, and neither side will be thrilled.

Magdeburg put on a clinical home display to dismantle Kaiserslautern 3-0, with Emmanuel Iyoha grabbing a brace and the hosts winning comfortably despite going into the match off the back of a poor recent run.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld put four past Nürnberg at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, with Adam Markhiev scoring twice in a dominant away performance that exposed every weakness in the home side's defensive basics.

Kaiserslautern came to Hamburg and earned a deserved 2-1 win over FC St. Pauli, with substitute Abdoulie Ceesay scoring the winner a minute after coming on. St. Pauli had no answer for a visiting side that dominated the match from start to finish.

Kaiserslautern were dominant throughout as goals from Mário Sauer and Thierry Tazemeta sealed a comfortable 2-0 win over a Darmstadt 98 side that had no answer and no desire to find one.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld led twice and still could not hold on, as FC St. Pauli's Abdoulie Ceesay came off the bench to rescue a point in a scrappy 2-2 draw in the 2. Bundesliga.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld have conceded ten goals in their last five 2. Bundesliga matches and cannot afford another defensive collapse. Osnabrück arrive with problems of their own, but this one has goals written all over it.

Two sides with more questions than answers meet at the Betzenberg on Saturday. Kaiserslautern need to prove last month's 0-3 hammering was a blip. Bochum need to prove they can keep a clean sheet away from home.
