Genoa 1-1 Frosinone result, stats and report

AS Roma eased to a 2-0 Serie A victory over Genoa at home, with goals from Santiago Castro and Emanuele Lulli doing the damage after the break. Genoa never looked like keeping them out.

Antonio Raimondo scored a hat-trick as Frosinone dominated Sassuolo at home, winning 4-2 in a ferocious first half that settled the contest before the hour mark.

Genoa ended a four-match losing run with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Fiorentina, racing into a two-goal lead inside 15 minutes before Johan Vásquez's own goal gave the visitors a lifeline that ultimately came to nothing.

Kevin De Bruyne scored twice and Noa Lang added a third as Napoli beat Frosinone 3-0 in Serie A, with Rasmus Højlund's missed penalty proving irrelevant to the final outcome.

AC Milan arrive at the Ferraris without a defeat in their last five Serie A matches. Genoa have shipped nine goals in that same window and are running out of places to hide.

Cagliari have quietly built something worth respecting at home. Frosinone arrive with goals in their legs but a soft underbelly that good teams have already exposed.

Two of Serie A's more uncertain outfits meet at the Via del Mare on Sunday. Neither side has done much to inspire confidence lately, and that makes this one genuinely hard to call.

Frosinone head into Sunday's Serie A clash with real momentum behind them, while Torino arrive having won just once in their last five. This one looks straightforward on paper. The question is whether Frosinone have the desire to make it look that way on the pitch.
