Córdoba 1-3 Granada result, stats and report

Leganés scored twice in the opening seven minutes and held on through Granada's second-half fightback to claim a 3-2 win in La Liga 2, with Ismaël Gharbi's 90th-minute strike killing off the visitors for good.

Córdoba took all three points at Albacete on Friday night, winning 2-1 in a match that Albacete dominated on paper but could not convert into a result. Alex Rubio struck inside the first minute and the lead held until Albacete hit back twice, only for Córdoba to edge it in a game that said everything about where both clubs are right now.

Almería took all three points at Córdoba with goals from Brian Cipenga and substitute Thalys, winning 2-0 despite Córdoba dominating possession and creating far more attempts on goal.

Granada dominated large spells at home but were pegged back by a late Albacete penalty from Higinio Marín, leaving both sides to share a 1-1 draw in La Liga 2. Owen Emeka's second-half opener looked like it might be enough, but Albacete dug in and snatched a point they will take.

Granada have shown enough at home to make this uncomfortable for a Cádiz side that has not won in five La Liga 2 matches. Sunday's contest is a straight fight for three points between two teams that cannot afford to drift.
