Como 0-0 Napoli result, stats and report

Como were sharper, braver, and more clinical than a Fiorentina side that had no answers once the visitors took control in the first half. Three points, and it was not even close.

Venezia ended a run of five consecutive Serie A defeats to beat Napoli 1-0, with Akor Adams scoring the only goal and Kevin De Bruyne missing a penalty as Napoli's afternoon fell apart completely.

Feyenoord came from behind twice to beat Como 3-2 in a breathless Champions League clash, with an own goal from Robert Sánchez and a stoppage-time finish from substitute Anastasios Douvikas completing a remarkable turnaround at De Kuip.

Villarreal put Napoli to the sword at home, running out convincing 3-1 winners in the UEFA Champions League thanks to goals from Amir Rrahmani, Georges Mikautadze, Santiago Mouriño, and a late Tani Oluwaseyi strike for the visitors.

Como dominated possession and created the better chances against ten-man AS Roma, but four big chances missed meant a frustrating goalless draw at home. Roma's Donyell Malen saw red on 53 minutes yet Como could not take advantage.

Napoli head into Saturday's clash with AS Roma off the back of a home defeat to Venezia and carrying a squad stretched thin by injuries. Roma arrive unbeaten in their last five Serie A matches and growing in confidence.

Como arrive at this one in fine fettle, having won three of their last five Serie A matches. Sassuolo have not kept a clean sheet in five attempts and are leaking goals at an alarming rate.

Lazio head to Naples on Sunday carrying four wins from five in Serie A, while Napoli look inconsistent and stretched at the back. Something has to give.
