Brighton vs Brentford prediction, odds and how to watch

Brighton came to the Stadium of Light and did what good sides do. They waited, they competed, and they punished Sunderland when it mattered.

Brighton put Arsenal to the sword with a controlled 3-0 victory at the Amex, with Pascal Groß, Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andrés all on target. Arsenal had 60% of the ball and did absolutely nothing with it.

Brentford put Chelsea to the sword with three second-half goals, exposing a visiting side that had more possession, more corners, and absolutely nothing to show for it. Jaidon Anthony, Igor Thiago, and Fábio Carvalho did the damage.

Brighton arrive at this one in serious form and Brentford simply refuse to lose. Something has to give on Sunday.

Hull City host an unbeaten Brentford side on Sunday carrying a mounting injury list and a home record that has shown genuine promise. Something has to give.

Liverpool have not lost in five Premier League matches but Brighton arrive in form and scoring freely. Something has to give at Anfield on Sunday.

Brentford have opened contract talks with Kevin Schade in a bid to lock in their in-form winger before Arsenal or Liverpool can move in January, a defensive play that reflects the club's wider sell-high recruitment model.

A Gambian journalist says Liverpool's return for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh is 'very, very possible' in January, but only if he recovers from injury, shows form, and Cody Gakpo potentially leaves first. It's the latest thread in a busy Liverpool winter shopping list that also includes Jon Aramburu and defending Florian Wirtz from Bayern Munich.
