Borussia Mönchengladbach vs Paderborn prediction, odds and how to watch

1899 Hoffenheim took all three points at Borussia Park with a 2-1 victory, but this was a result built on the failings of a Gladbach side that have now lost five Bundesliga matches in a row rather than any great quality from the visitors.

Werder Bremen controlled 61% of possession and put 11 shots on target but could not hold on, as Paderborn levelled twice to earn a 2-2 draw at the Weserstadion. Niclas Füllkrug scored both Bremen goals yet it was not enough.

1. FC Köln ground out a hard-fought 2-1 Bundesliga victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday, with goals from Ísak Jóhannesson and Saïd El Mala securing three points that their defensive record badly needed. Gladbach pulled one back through Joe Scally but never truly threatened to take anything from it.

Paderborn ended a three-match winless run in the most convincing fashion possible, outfighting and outscoring a Hoffenheim side that dominated possession but could not turn it into goals.

Paderborn have not kept a clean sheet in their last five Bundesliga matches and Hamburg arrive in form. Something has to give on Saturday afternoon.

Eintracht Frankfurt arrive at Paderborn on Saturday having conceded sixteen goals in five Bundesliga matches. The thing is, Paderborn are not exactly a fortress either.

Hamburger SV welcome Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday night with both sides haemorrhaging goals and desperately short of confidence. Something has to give, and the question is which backline gives way first.
