Barcelona vs Villarreal prediction, odds and how to watch

Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-2 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, with Désiré Doué and late goals from Vitinha and Fabián Ruiz putting the game to bed after Barcelona briefly threatened a comeback.

Alexis Mac Allister scored twice and Florian Wirtz added a stunning third as Liverpool came from behind twice to beat Villarreal 4-3 in a breathless Champions League encounter. Seven goals, no clean sheets, and a Villarreal side that made Liverpool work every single minute.

Barcelona have crushed every opponent put in front of them across their last five La Liga matches. Villarreal arrive at the Nou Camp on Sunday with a mixed bag of form and a squad carrying injuries. Something has to give.

Barcelona arrive at this one having scored 22 goals in their last five La Liga matches. Deportivo Alaves arrive having won none of their last five. Work that one out yourself.

Barcelona arrive at El Clasico on the back of five straight La Liga wins and 22 goals scored. Real Madrid have questions to answer, but they always show up for this one.

Barcelona have reported PSG to UEFA over a pre-match tifo showing a blood-covered chainsaw destroying the Barça crest, but Article 16's €10,000 maximum first-offence fine means the punishment is unlikely to match the outrage. The complaint comes after PSG beat a depleted Barça 4-2, with García, Koundé, Dembélé and Olmo all affected.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been watching Barcelona wonderkid Xavi Espart, but a release clause worth more than €100million against a €25m valuation shows Barcelona have no intention of selling cheaply. This is speculative scouting, not an active transfer pursuit.
