Al Ittihad 2-1 Al Nassr result, stats and report

Al Khaleej held Al Nassr to a 1-1 draw in the Saudi Pro League, with Abdullah Al-Hamdan's 72nd-minute equaliser cancelling out Omar Mascarell's first-half header in a match Al Khaleej dominated on the ball but failed to convert.

Al Nassr ground out a 2-1 Saudi Pro League victory over Abha on Wednesday, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Abdullah Al-Hamdan on the scoresheet before Nabil Fekir pulled one back for the visitors in the final quarter.

Al Ittihad made it four wins from their last five Saudi Pro League matches with a 2-1 home victory over Al-Fayha, George Ilenikhena heading them in front before Youssef En-Nesyri converted from the spot after the visitors had briefly levelled.

Al Fateh dominated Al Ittihad in every measurable way but could not find a winner in a goalless Saudi Pro League draw, hitting the woodwork three times and missing four big chances in a performance that will haunt their players for days.

George Ilenikhena scored twice in the first half to hand Al Ittihad a 2-1 victory over Al Nassr, a result that defied the run of play and left the visitors with plenty to answer for despite dominating large spells of the match.

Al Nassr came from behind to win 3-2 at Al Ettifaq in a Saudi Pro League fixture that illustrated everything about how the reigning champions impose their structure on a game. The decisive moment came in stoppage time, and the patterns that led there were visible from the first half.
