Two major injuries, one moderate injury, and one minor injury in their squad coming into this match. That matters. Disrupted preparation matters. But it does not excuse the discipline issues, the defensive errors, and the way they stopped running when the game turned against them. Accountability is not optional when things go wrong. It becomes more important.

Chuba Akpom came off the bench at half-time and scored in stoppage time. Good for him. It means nothing in terms of the result, but it shows that Ipswich had more to offer than their starting eleven managed. That should frustrate their manager.
