Sheffield United lost their most recent Championship match, going down 0-1 to Wolves. A clean sheet from the opposition. Sheffield United on the wrong end of it. That about sums up the dynamic.

What This Match Actually Is

Strip it back. Portsmouth at home, defensive enough to grab clean sheets occasionally, but short on goals. Sheffield United away, capable of scoring, absolutely incapable of stopping the opposition from doing the same. Something has to give.

Sheffield United's attacking intent creates openings but also leaves gaps. Portsmouth's home crowd will push them forward. Accountability is the word I keep coming back to. Neither manager will be happy with the defensive standards on show from their side in recent weeks.
