Horsham Were Good Enough

Credit where it is due. Horsham were not wasteful. Sophie would probably say something about how they set themselves up to absorb pressure and strike on the counter, and she is not wrong. Four shots, all on target. That kind of accuracy does not happen by accident. They had a plan, they executed it when the game was there to be won, and they are through to the next round.

Corners were level at five each. Both sides made four substitutions. On paper, this was an evenly contested match for long stretches. Horsham simply had the mentality to see it through when Walton & Hersham did not.

I backed the unders logic. Low-scoring FA Cup ties at this level are not unusual. Three goals in eight minutes is an outlier, not a pattern. The logic was not wrong.
