Look at the fixtures and look at the league table context. This is the Champions League group stage and the standings show this is a competitive, sprawling competition with 35 teams. Honestly? I think Sturm Graz are favourites and I think Sturm Graz draw this game. That home form is not a fluke. Six draws in seven home games is a pattern, not a coincidence. They protect their patch, they make it hard to play through, and they nick enough to stay unbeaten.

But Hearts will score. You heard it here first. That BTTS rate for Hearts away from home is basically screaming at you. 77.78% of their away games see both teams score. And Sturm at home let goals in. Their home clean sheet rate is only 42.86% in the last ten. So the Jambos will get a chance or two and I fancy them to take at least one.

Prediction territory is still a bit murky three weeks out but if you are asking me where my head is... Sturm Graz 1-1 Hearts. Scrappy. European. Brilliant. The Gorgie faithful who make the trip will be in absolute limbs at the equaliser. That is the dream anyway.
