Amadora were working hard but without the cutting edge that had made them so difficult to beat in recent weeks.

Joan Jordán came on for Viseu at half-time as a direct replacement for Doué, who had been booked. Jordán then collected a yellow card himself on 68 minutes for a foul. Viseu were not without their own problems in terms of discipline, finishing the match with two yellow cards to Amadora's three.
