Right, we are two days out from what could genuinely be one of the most significant matches of Crawley Town's season. And look, I know I say that a lot. But this time I mean it. This is the kind of fixture that either gives you hope or absolutely finishes you. No in between. No grey area. Just football being brutal and brilliant at the same time.

I'm going big on this. Salford to win is the banker leg. Goes in. Around it I am building the usual catastrophe of hope and optimism that defines my weekend acca experience. BTTS yes is another leg. And for the scoreline punt I am going 2-1 Salford, purely because I enjoy the tension of Crawley pulling one back and making me sweat for twenty minutes before Salford see it out.

Will the acca land? Honestly, probably not. You know my hit rate. Back to the drawing board has been the theme of my Saturdays since approximately 2019. But this weekend I have a feeling. I always have a feeling. That is the problem.
