The final scoreline reads Beşiktaş 1-0 FC Midtjylland, and if you only looked at that result you would assume a relatively comfortable home victory in the UEFA Europa League. Then you look at the actual statistics, and the picture becomes something considerably more complicated and considerably more interesting.

The interesting thing is what this game actually was structurally. Beşiktaş were not a team that pressed high and won the ball back quickly.
